As Head of Communications at ParityQC, I directed the quantum computing company’s communication strategy, enhanced brand visibility through press releases and social media campaigns, while strengthening the brand identity through consistent visual design.

Campaign highlights
Parity Twine
Background
Parity Twine is one of ParityQC’s major technological breakthroughs: a quantum algorithm compilation and synthesis method that eliminates the need for resource-intensive SWAP gates in quantum circuits. Following the publication of the paper in 2025, the challenge was to build awareness of the technology and communicate its potential impact across the quantum computing industry.
Insight
I saw the launch as an opportunity to communicate a technical breakthrough at a level beyond traditional B2B or scientific communication. Rather than relying solely on LinkedIn and technical content, I looked at how companies such as Google and OpenAI launch major technological developments (such as Google's Willow quantum chip) and identified video as a powerful way to give the announcement greater impact, clarity and credibility.
Execution
I developed a multi-channel campaign combining a press release, media outreach, website content, LinkedIn posts, a professionally shot video and visual explainers. The launch was widely covered by quantum computing and technology media, while the LinkedIn announcement generated almost 10K views. A high-quality announcement video and carousel further helped explain the technology and its relevance to a broader audience. The campaign contributed to strong awareness of Parity Twine within the quantum community and helped propel subsequent collaborations with companies including IBM.

QSea
Background
QSea is one of the biggest European quantum computing initiatives to date, bringing together ParityQC, NXP and eleQtron to develop ion-trap-based quantum computers in Germany as part of the DLR Quantum Computing Initiative. With three companies and a major public initiative behind the project, the challenge was to communicate its scale and potential while giving each partner strong visibility.
Insight
With a growing number of quantum computing consortia across Europe, simply launching a project website and communicating milestones through conferences and scientific publications risked getting lost in the noise. I saw an opportunity to approach QSea more like a brand: creating a distinctive visual identity and a consistent communication ecosystem that would make the project recognisable and memorable.
Execution
Together with the Communications managers at NXP Germany and eleQtron, I developed the project’s brand identity, website and LinkedIn communication, creating a consistent visual and editorial language across all channels. I also personally led the production of a project video filmed at the quantum computing facility in Hamburg, featuring interviews with representatives of all three partners and the Head of DLR QCI.The campaign culminated in the inauguration of the QSea I quantum computer at NXP in Hamburg, attended by former German Chancellor Olaf Scholz. The campaign generated more than 80 mentions across German and international media.
